Zack Snyder Delivers Another Stunning Sucker Punch Poster, You Will Be Unprepared Alright!

Well it seems director Zack Snyder is coming through with continuing to deliver stunning posters/pics for his forthcoming film, Sucker Punch. With the release of another gut-busting promotional poster, you would think that Snyder has everything to gain! Already summing up to be a fantastic film – as this is my most anticipated film of this year – Punch looks to deliver a whole lot more than its title suggests.

This poster only reminds us that in March, dropping into theaters is the ride of your life! Dragons, samurai, guns, gals, robots, swords, planes and of course Nazi’s is only a short list of the things being thrown at us in high-flying 2-D! Sucker Punch is the movie I’m most looking forward to this year, and for a good reason!

Check out the poster below, and as always enjoy!

Sucker Punch Images Escaped From A Mental Institution, And Found Their Way Online

Not a lot has been seen of Zack Snyder‘s visual tour-de force that has been teased and built up through some very vague trailers and pics previously released, which is starting to play with your mind no doubt — maybe were the ones that should be in the looney bin! Well have no fair, as we have heres our latest quick fix of ass-kicking super-babes from Movie Webs feature the lovely ladies of Snyder’s Sucker Punch.

What I love about Snyder is that he’s a director that has no definitive style (apart from slomo action) yet his works stand out as very visually pleasing and the esthetic is more than pleasing. He stands out as one of my favorite directors (among the names of Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan etc.) because of his visual style and amazing ability to tell a clear story amongst all the mayhem of flying ninja’s, gun shots, sword fights and toga wearing badasses slaying like legends.

The man just knows how to handle a screen, and these images don’t surprise me at all — they’re only a small taste of what’s to come and yet Im even more excited by them. Thanks to Movie Webs we have several images below for you to check out.

And for those a little less savvy with the story line Punch is a original story from director Snyder, about a young girl who is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility. And basically thats all we know as far, except from what the trailers have told us to expect — warping battles with robot samurai’s, dragons, Nazi’s, Airplane battles and of course girls kicking-ass in sexy outfits…what more do you need??

So check out the picks below, and enjoy!

Nolan’s Search For Superman Continues…Or Rather Starts!

To be quite honest this is going to be a testing few months/year for us bloggers/reporters, because we have the strenuous job of bringing you the millions of rumors and speculations that will surround the casting for Zack Snyders‘s Superman reboot this next year.

Judging buy the template (superhero flick) casting has a way of playing out on a lengthy scale, much like the search for the latest Spiderman/Peter Parker — which led to actor Andrew Garfield, after several hundred previous candidates. So saddle up!

This being the first post related to casting of any kind for Nolan’s Superman, its more of a notification rather than news but just a warning According to Deadline, producer Chris Nolan and director Snyder have started looking for the actor to headline the next Superman film — get ready.

This time around they will be looking for something a little different, thank god, with searches for an actor between the ages of 28-32 already going out. As well as that its the producers/directors express wishes to have a relatively unknown person this time to play the the last son of krypton — for which I applaud them. Because it seems the younger they get, the worse it gets — not that Brandon Routh had anything to do with how awful Returns was…*cough* *cough*. But hey, they seem to be learning off of it.

I’ve never been one for speculation, because frankly theres enough of it out there — but Deadline believes that some early candids are rookie stars Armie Hammer, and Tyler Winklevoss (both from The Social Network) who was speculated to play Batman in the now scrapped Justice League film. Obviously I have never heard of either of them, which may be a good sign. So thats it from me and the casting call, stay tuned for more updates and rumors from Superman: Man Of Steel!

Banner For Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch Is Freakin Awesome!

If you have seen the trailer for Zack Snyder‘s Sucker Punch, then you will know that it is a fairly accurate indication of what to expect — and hell, I’m excited! Here we have a banner straight from the film itself, and in the current fashion of the film — it fits in pretty damn well.

For those sleepy to Snyder’s latest production, Sucker Punch is about a young girl (Baby Doll) who is institutionalized by her evil step-father and after a lobotomy she copes by retreats into an alternate reality in order to plan an elaborate escape plan to get out of her current skewed reality and the mental institution — all before being caught by an evil man. And judging by the trailer, its not medical staff she should be worried about — its German soldiers, evil gun-wielding robots, Samaria and dragons.

Thanks to IMP awards (via CinemaBlend) we have this banner poster to share with you. Between the huge robot with a bunny painted on the front of it and five scantily clad babes with machine guns and war era planes circling a gothic castle we can get a small but sweet taste of Snyder’s Punch. Tell us what you think?

Trailer Trove: Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch Makes It’s Online Debut Straight From Comic-Con!

One of the big hits last week of Comic-Con was Zack Snyder‘s Sucker Punch — who knew. Snyder’s Punch follows the life of young girl (called Baby Doll) who is institutionalized by her evil step-father and after a lobotomy she copes by retreats into an alternate reality in order to plan an elaborate escape plan to get out of her current skewed reality and the mental institution — all before being caught by an evil man. Which is all set in the 1950’s, sounds epic no?

Punch stars an almost all female cast, including Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events), Vanessa Hudgens and Jena Malone (Saved!) — all of which look smoking hot in the some of the new pics that have been released. Although not based on any comic (which sounds insane when after watching the trailer) punch involves Dragons, Samaria’s, Swords, fire-breathing dragons and and giant-gun-wielding death machines.

If you take a look at some of Snyder’s earlier films, Watchmen and 300 then you can only guess as to what to expect. So get ready for it, cus its gonna blow you away! Sucker Punch is looking to head into cinemas on March 25th, 2011 — so be ready for more news (and hopefully some footage) and as always enjoy!
