Shia LaBeouf Now Saying ‘I wasn’t Impressed with Transformers 2’ + Promises For Transformers 3

While in Cannes, promoting his latest film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Transformers star Shia LaBeouf (Sam) revealed that he wasn’t entirely happy with the last TF film (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen).

Saying When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did,” he said. “There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone… we got lost. We tried to get bigger. Mike [director Michael Bay] went so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie.”

Which is refreshing to hear, as I indefinitely agree with him. The jump between the first Bay Transformers and the second is a huge leap, as the first had a new and story driven plot – rather than his second go which was basically all Balls no brain so to speak.

However, he promised that the third – due to be released next year – will be a huge improvement.

“There’s going to be a lot of death, human death. This time, they’re targeting humans… It’s going to be the craziest action movie ever made, or we failed.” He says of Transformers 3.
